Two food sites have begun operating, with three more set to begin in the coming weeks
Manchester Airport welcomes the inauguration of the food service company HMSHost International’s first hospitality facilities today (July 14), as the hub opens the doors to its new ‘super terminal’.
Amber Alehouse and KFC – both ran by the food service firm – have begun operating today, with independent coffee shop, Pot Kettle Black, Indian and Mexican restaurant, Wrapchic and VIT juice bar to follow in the near future whilst airlines transfer their services over to the new facility.
“HMSHost are a valuable partner and it is fantastic to have them on board as we open our newly-expanded Terminal Two, a major milestone in the history of our airport,” said Karen Smart, Manchester Airport’s managing director. “HMSHost’s outlets will include a mix of household names and restaurants with a more local flavour, such as the Amber Alehouse and Pot Kettle Black. We are sure customers will be thrilled with the variety and quality of what is on offer.”

The company has been serving guests at the airport for more than ten years.
