A US Air Force Air Education and Training Command Accident Investigation Board Report has found that pilot error was to blame for a fatal crash involving a T-38C Talon near Dannelly Field in Montgomery, Alabama, on February 19, 2021.
The report, released on October 10, identifies the aircraft involved as 68-8099 ‘CB’ from the 50th Flying Training Squadron (FTS) ‘Strikin Snakes’, 14th Flying Training Wing (FTW), at Columbus Air Force Base (AFB), Mississippi.
