Russia’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Denis Matunov, was quoted as saying in Moscow on December 27, 2017, that 2018 sales are projected to be 30 SSJ-100s, half to international customers. He said that negotiations for an order from Egyptair, originally for aircraft and 12 options, but eventually as many as 40 aircraft, which started in 2015, but were put on hold following the suspension of direct commercial air flights with Russia, may be restarted as early as February 2018. Projected future deliveries are 35-40 per year.
