Welcome to the 2017 UK Airports Guide
The United Kingdom has 64 airports capable of handling commercial passenger traffic. These include large facilities such as Gatwick, Manchester, Heathrow, Birmingham and Glasgow, medium size regional airports, and smaller examples such as those found on many of the Scottish islands. A few airfields have fallen by the wayside over the years, but Blackpool has made a welcome return and there is a possibility that Penzance Heliport might make a reappearance soon too.
