US Army small UAV review

The US Army is reviewing the requirements of all its small UAVs to set out what it wants these systems to be capable of doing and inform future planning decisions, starting with the FY2020 budget and programme objective memoranda. The review is being carried out by the Army Capabilities Integration Office with inputs from the US Army Training and Doctrine Command, Program Executive Office Aviation and the Aviation Center of Excellence. The review of the US Army’s requirements for small UAVs was identified as the first step in a comprehensive evaluation of systems. David C Isby
