MacBook Pro 13"/OS 10.12/Chrome browser - same issue - maybe the forum page layout settings are set too wide?

On my system, Windows 7 + Firefox, horisontal scrollbar when in reduced size (user drags to wanted size) window but not in full size window. The same on your systems?

If I reduce the window size, the horizontal scrollbar also reduced so that the floating page still exists!

I have an issue with the new set-up and wonder if anyone can help?
I'm using a Mac with a magic mouse and use Firebox as my browser so when scrolling up on down, the page is also floating left and right!
Unfortunately, using a magic mouse means that when I move the page back to its correct position, the system often takes this as an instruction to go back to the previous page!
Due to current speed issues with the site, this can be somewhat annoying and as I am no computerist, could I ask if this is a site issue or likely to be a computer set up issue?
I have tried using Safari and the same problem exists!
Can anyone offer any advise please?
