It was a pleasent surprise to be contacted regarding the old forum.

I have changed a lot since those days both in outlook on many issues and approach and I feel former members who recall me will find me a lot less abrasive as I have mellowed somewhat in my old age. (now 66).

I have lived and worked in France for six and a half years now, in Toulouse, and am still working in Avionics but for the last 4.5 years as a Final Signatory Inspector (APRS). I really enjoy living here in many ways.

Are many of the posters from back in the day still here, Davar and Bald Eagle come to mind or have they flow to that great airport somewhere over the rainbow?

Best wishes to all both old and new from me and my cat Mimi.

Same here, apart from the bit about living in France!

It'll be interesting to see who else turns up from way-back-when

Miceto ear of you. I am a lot less abrasive now than I used to be and will usually just agree to disagree rather than  get into a polemical diatribe.

For the last 6.5 years I have lived and worked near Toulouse Blagnac Airport and for the last 4.5 as a Q/A Final Inspector in an Avionics company.
