Orbx has announced PNG Highland Bush Strips Pack 2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.
Developed by Ken Hall, Bush Strips Pack 2 ventures further into the highlands of Papua New Guinea, adding seven new airstrips crafted for a challenging and immerse-full experience: AYSP - Sapmanga, AYIS - Isan, AYTP - Tep Tep, AYBC - Bambu, AYNA - Nankina, AYNH - Nahu and AYGH - Guhu
Pack 2 is compatible with the original PNG Pack 1 and offers plenty of challenges as some of the strips are short and steep, which will test your ability to operate STOL aircraft.
Key features include over 100 unique models with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) textures using advanced weathering techniques and optimised LoD (Level of Detail) for smooth performance.
The runways feature accurate terrain profiles matching the real-world elevations with adjusted vegetation on the approaches to facilitate short-field operations.
Other highlights include custom parking positions for cold and dark starts and realistic models for the surrounding villages. The package is available on OrbxDirect for AUD$18.99 (approx £9.85).
