I've always had a soft spot for the B206. I once chartered on for a flight from Staverton to Leeds Bradford. (and back)
I suspect YP was some sort of sweetener when they were recruiting Ken Delve.

She was the child of the management. Its far cheap to hire an aircraft to suit the needs of a photoshoot .

I would guess there are more suitable aircraft for photographs (was it approved for flying with a door off like the Bonanza A36 or Cessna 206?). I'd expect the 206 was more for management transport.
I have a soft spot for the Basset/206, too bad it's almost extinct.

They are a very pretty aircraft -the series 2 really had the power that the Bassett should have had from the start. The numbers that fly are dwindling year on year.

I'm just surprised that it lasted so long as an overhead with overall falling circulations etc.

Apparently not noticed by many but our Forum sponsors have divested themselves of their trademark plane. I wonder if they will obtain another?
