Much, much more limited - and they had already been curtailed at the last update - but not for all of us. I think the last update had some dodgy software in the mix, which didn't help the situation, but this one is something else entirely!

As I say, I am prepared to see how things go. I'm afraid that I cant for a moment see that anybody would pay a subscription for what we are seeing outside of the forum itself.

Bruce, I may have misread the situation, and I haven’t yet tried it, but my understanding is that the subscription refers to a magazine from the Key stable, rather than a subscription to the information per se. Khaled, in your post above you stated that “good communication is key”. Sadly “Key is not good communication” at the moment

You can subscribe to online content - at a cost. This is in addition to the magazine offer.

Hi all, quick update from me.

Firstly, Jeepman, it's Khalem not Khaled :D and you're right communication has been poor in the past and I'm looking to change that by being more communicative with users going forward, but bear in mind I also have to do my other job roles at the same time.

A full update on forum changes and what developers are doing as per your comments will come tomorrow. I was hoping it would come today but tomorrow is looking more likely.

I know you're all disgruntled with how the forum looks and how it works but these are things that because of your comments we can seek to change.

I hope you all have a good night,
Regards,
Khalem

If I have to wade through various pages of “my content” every time I sign in to post on a thread, I am very likely to not bother coming here. Such a shame after over 15 years.

It’s now Tuesday afternoon and I still see the same shambles and carcass of a once vibrant and lively forum with a large community of people sharing a common interest in historic aviation. I fear, Key Publishing that you have really thrown out the baby with the bath water this time
