-Which Turkish manufacturer should have built that thang? Was there a Turkish aeronautic industry pre mid-70's?

-Yes, there was a Turkish aircraft industry since 1925, the first one TOMTAS (A.20) then KTF (Hawk, Go.146A, PZL.24 and Magister) then THK building 80 Miles Magisters and designing 15 types among them the jet trainer called THK.16 (the one shown above). It was taken over by the MKEK factory and tried produced under the designation MKEK Model 3. None were produced and it remained a project only. The factory, however produced 56 MKEK.4 Ugur trainers for the TUAF btw 1956 and 59. Today of course Turkey produces several types under license (F-16, CN.235). By the way the first black pilot flew in Turkey in 1914, the first woman military pilot in 1936 and the first two woman jet military pilots in 1952.

-The nose section reminds me somehow of the Me-263 but of course larger and tail sercion of Il (Il-28 but without the tailgun),but overall,nice:)

Here is something from the website of the rafale pic..
This airplane (mehmetcik) was design after WW2, but never built.. thanks to F-80
It was suppose to use the same engines as the Fauga Magister
