European Expansion
L3 Commercial Training Solutions (L3 CTS) is expanding its L3 European Airline Academy at Ponte de Sor, Portugal, to enable the throughput of 500 students per year. To achieve this, the academy is adding 12 new Diamond DA40s and four Cessna aircraft. The top floor of the facility is being developed to provide modern on-site accommodation for more than 100 additional cadets, with the work due to be completed by September.
