UK leisure airline Jet2 is set to open its 11th UK base next summer at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The base will offer flights to 20 destinations in six countries "in response to enormous demand from customers and independent travel agents across the region."
Services are set to begin at the Merseyside facility on March 28, 2024.
The carrier says it will position four based aircraft at the facility and offer 565,000 seats during the first summer of operations.
During the peak months, Jet2 is expected to operate 54 weekly flights from Liverpool.
