• Two Libyan National Army (LNA) pilots were killed when their unidentifled helicopter crashed south of Sirte on February 10. The helicopter had reportedly been conducting combat operations against a Benghazi Defense Brigades (BDB) convoy that was en route to the Mabrouk oil field. • Four soldiers were injured in the crash of a US Army UH-60M at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, on January 31. The mishap occurred as the result of an apparent in-flight fire aboard the Black Hawk, which was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), 101st Combat Aviation Brigade.

• An Alouette III operated by the French Navy’s 22S detachment crashed into the La Tontouta River, near BA 186 Lt Paul Klein/ Tontouta International Airport, New Caledonia, on January 31. Two of the helicopter’s four crew and passengers were seriously injured. The Alouette is normally deployed aboard the French Navy’s surveillance frigate Vendémiaire (F734), which is based in Nouméa.
