Lotus Lands at Da Nang

A NEW Lotus Lounge has been officially inaugurated by Vietnam Airlines on the second floor of Terminal 2 at Da Nang International Airport, as part of efforts to enhance the wider passenger experience.

The new space can accommodate nearly 100 travellers and is the fifth business lounge to be operated by the Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited (VIAGS), which itself is a subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines.

The offering is largely consistent with similar facilities located in Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat Airports, catering to the airline’s Lotusmiles Platinum and Gold members, along with business class passengers from other carriers. The room includes a buffet, bar and workstations with computers, printers, scanners and fax machines. It also boasts massage facilities and free Wi-Fi for those with more of a leisure focus.

At the inauguration ceremony, Trinh Ngoc Thanh, Vietnam Airlines’ executive vice-president, said: “The Lotus Lounge in Da Nang marks an improved consistency in our provision of four-star ground service quality across three regions – the North, Central and South, and reaffirms VIAGS’ and Vietnam Airlines’ region-leading service capability.” (Photo Vietnam Airlines)
