Sign petition to save Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre

Time is running out for the Newquay-based attraction – it must close its HAS building in a fortnight

It’s not late to sign a petition to save Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre (CAHC). It currently has just over 23,000 signatures. The greatly admired centre is set to close permanently following Cornwall Council's decision to terminate its tenancy and evict it from the site – and all without viable alternatives being made available.

The CAHC is still battling to overturn the council’s inexplicable decision. In a new statement, CAHC said: “As Cornwall Airport Newquay will not renew our lease or provide another site around the airport estate, we only have two weeks left before we close the HAS doors for the very last time.

“We are still trying to get Cornwall Council to finally understand the value of our museum to local people and the tens of thousands of visitors we attract each year. We are also developing alternative solutions but are looking for help. We are looking for expertise and funding to help our museum reopen in 2023. Please join 23,000 other people and sign our petition.”
