Orbx’s TrueEarth Great Britain North for X-Plane 11 is now available.
The area features 40,415 sq miles of hand-corrected colour-matched imagery covering the entire central region. Of particular note are the metropolitan areas Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Areas such as the Scottish Highlands, the beautiful Lochs, Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Islands have been faithfully recreated, along with many notable castles, ancient bridges, monuments and ruins. Hand-placed custom VFR landmarks can be found throughout the scenery, including masts, wind farms, churches, power lines and lighthouses. Also included is the Isle of Man with more than 50 custom 3D models. This will be further enhanced by a separate scenery pack, which will include the airport, from Orbx later this year.
