Must be a trick of perspective or of the eye, but the propeller seems so small on that last head-on DH9 picture, especially compared with the picture above that.

Duxford Tuesday 14th May:

Glorious sunshine today brought out a few of the local warbird fleet. TFC's P-36 had an engine test, and the P-40C flew an extended local test. Sharkmouth was also flying:
