In this special feature, we interview Scott Gentile, owner of A2A Simulations and discuss his latest project - the Beechcraft V-Tail Bonanza, Prepar3D version 4, his new Accu-Sim engine and future projects.

PC Pilot: Hi Scott, thanks for agreeing to do this interview with us. Can I begin by asking you to tell us a little about your new project – the V-Tail Bonanza? Why did you decide to model this particular aircraft?

Scott Gentile: Mostly because, like so many pilots and aeroplane enthusiasts, I have dreamed of what it’s like to fly this aircraft. The V-tail Bonanza is an icon. It epitomises first-class, high performance personal aircraft. And it is interesting how even with its popularity, there are still things about the Bonanza that many people don’t know or understand. This gives us an opportunity to model and describe these characteristics.

PC Pilot: How would you describe the V-Tail Bonanza in terms of its flying characteristics?

Scott Gentile: Instinctively responsive, has balanced controls, sensitive, fast, and it’s not that stable.
