Greece’s plan to upgrade 85 F-16C and F-16Ds to F-16V configuration has been approved after a highlevel government review, it was announced on April 30. The programme is planned to cost €1.2 billion. Annual payments for the programme are capped at $146 million until 2021, reflecting Greece’s budgetary issues. The first F-16V will be delivered in 2020 and production will continue until 2028.
