The cockpit of HS Dominie 125 G-BOCB has been acquired by private collector Dean Smith, who is refurbishing it at his South Wales base. It had previously been at Doncaster’s South Yorkshire Air Museum. Dean describes the project as “a lifelong dream come to fruition” and looks forward to displaying it at Newark’s Cockpitfest and other shows.

Bell UH-1H Iroquois HU.10-58/ET-228 is the latest arrival at the Spanish Air Force’s Museo del Aire in Madrid. The helicopter, which served with Spain’s army, arrived by truck in early April. One of its last missions was with the United Nations in Lebanon. The ‘Huey’ will receive some restoration work before going on public display. ROBERTO YÁNEZ

A pair of replica World War Two fighters departed the RAF Museum Cosford on April 18, bound for central London. After being displayed at the city’s Guildhall from the 20th to the 22nd, the refurbished models were returned to their permanent home at Hendon.
