Reagan National Airport has some of the strictest noise restrictions in the country. Aircraft are required to take unusually complicated paths to avoid restricted and prohibited airspace above the Capitol. Despite its small size, it serves 98 nonstop destinations to the US, Canada, the Bahamas, and Bermuda.

The package for X-Plane 12 is an up-to-date rendition of the actual airport, featuring extensive details throughout, along with animations such as jetways, VGDS (Visual Docking Guidance System) and marshallers.

Other details include interior modelling for the terminal, control towers, hangars, authentic night lighting and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials. It also sports static aircraft, custom lighting (including the River Visual and dual PAPI) and animated trains.

Additionally, the city of Washington DC is modelled with more than 1,000 landmarks surrounding the airport, ortho coverage and additional 'lite' airports. It is available on OrbxDirect for AUD$38.02 (approx £19.51).
