The Guild of Aviation Artists’ 48th Annual Summer Exhibition is to be held between July 9 and 15 at the Mall Galleries, London SW1. Celebrating 100 years of the Royal Air Force with nearly 400 original works of art on display from 122 different artists, the exhibition will attract art buyers and enthusiasts from across the world.

This is the premier event for wholly original works of aviation art, each the result of meticulous observation or careful research of aircraft events, personalities and historical achievements blended with artistic skills in land, sea and skyscapes.

A number of prestigious prizes and trophies will be presented, including the BAE Systems’ ‘Aviation Painting of the Year’ and Key Publishing FlyPast magazine’s ‘Fellows Award for Excellence’, each worth £1000.

Entry to the exhibition is open to the public from July 10 and visitors will be able to view painting demonstrations by Guild artists.
